The number 7 ranked Ohio State buckeyes travel to Purdue Boilermakers this week at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana in a Big 10 matchup where Ohio State is 5-1, and 3-0 in the Big 10.  Purdue is 1-5 for the season, and 0-2 in the Big 10. Currently the Purdue boilermakers are averaging 410.2 yards per game this season, something that the Ohio State defense is looking to stall this week.  Last week the Ohio State defense picked off 2 interceptions for touchdowns against the Wisconsin badgers. Look for more of the same this week, as Ohio State has one of the top-ranked defenses, and Purdue has been struggling offensively with ball security, especially deep in their own territory. OSU’s defense is ranked 11th in the country seven in points allowed, at 12 per game, and 19 takeaways are second-best in the country.
