The West Virginia Mountaineers head to Nippert Stadium to take on the #5 Cincinnati Bearcats.  The unbeaten Bearcats are 9-0, and West Virginia is 7-2. West Virginia is averaging 28.3 points per game, and giving up 20.9 points per game.  Cincinnati is explosive on offense putting up an average of 40 points per game and their defense is only allowing 16.4 points per game.  The mountaineers are rushing for 181.4 yards a game, and Cincinnati is putting up 157.9 points per game.  But the comparison isn’t even close when you look at passing yardage, the mountaineers are putting up 212 YPG in the air, while Cincinnati is airing out 324.7 yards a game.  West Virginia is -5 in the turnover ratio, and Cincinnati is +13 in this category.  The mathematical prediction for this game is Cincinnati 35 West Virginia 24.

Cincinnati plans on using both quarterbacks this weekend, as Zach Collaros has been named the starter, coach Brian Kelly also announced that QB Tony Pike will also play.  The Bearcats are coming off a massive 700 plus yard offense show last week against Connecticut, however they squandered a 16 point lead late.  Their defense will have to toughen up, to avoid any shots of upsets for their bowl sights.  Can Cincinnati cover as -9 home favorites against West Virginia.

QB JR Brown will need to step it up this week, after a dismal performance against Louisville last week.  Brown threw for 74 yards with 9/17 passing attempts, for one touchdown and one interception.  Louisville defense was averaging 357.7 yards given up, and 26.4 points per game, and that was all the Mountaineers could put up with 16 points. Will the struggling mountaineers upset the Bearcats tonight.

Prediction the mountaineers are 0-4 ATS, and this game they should end up 0-5 ATS and straight up.  Cincinnati has too many weapons on offense, takes Cincy -9, the over could just cover by Cinicinnati alone.
