Both teams are scoring powerhouses, with Boise St averaging 44.2 points per game, and allowing 17.7 ppg. TCU is putting up 40.7 ypg, and their stout defense is holding opponents to 12.4 ppg. Boise St finished with a +19 turonover ratio and TCU is at +4. TCU has powerhouse runningbacks and their offense averages 255.2 ypg, Boise is putting up 194.5. We’ll have to see how that works against a Horned Frogs run defense that only gives up 80.5 yards a game. The mathmatical prediction for this game is TCU 30 Boise St 28. Broncos Running back Jeremy Avery leads the team with 1131 yards, averaging 80 yards per game with an astounding 5.7 yards per rush average. He has hit paydirt 6 times on the ground. Meanwhile TCU has 4 rushers over 500 yards, including QB Andy Dalton and RB’s  Joseph Turner, Matthew Tucker,  and Edward Wesley.

Horned Frogs QB Andy Dalton is completing 62.4% this season with 2484 yards, 22 TD’s and 5 interceptions. Broncos QB Kellen Moore is completing 64.6% with 3325 yards, and only 3 interceptions with a whopping 39 touchdowns.

The matchup in this game looks to be on the shoulders of QB Kellen Moore, as the Horned Frogs are excellent at stopping the run. Prediction: This will be Boise St’s toughest defensive opponent, and TCU can score easier than Oregon, who held Boise St to only 17 points.  I think TCU covers the spread by about 10-13 Boise St 17 TCU 31.

I took Minnesota Vikings versus the Baltimore Ravens, which did not cover, I took the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Cleveland Browns, which did not cover, I took the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Oakland Raiders, and Oakland won a straight up.

I guess the games I didn’t take don’t count for anything and allies, but I’ll put them on their, anybody that took the New England Patriots versus the Tennessee Titans, congratulations, because there’s nothing like hitting a game that you can go to sleep before the third quarters over and collect your cash.

I thought Seattle was tough at home, but apparently the defending Super Bowl runner-up Arizona Cardinals changed my opinion there, Cincinnati who is on a hot streak, couldn’t handle the Houston Texans at home, and the New York Giants had no shot against the powerful offense of the New Orleans Saints.

Bet on the Denver Broncos versus the San Diego Chargers

2008 Heisman winner Sam Bradford returns in this shootout, from a shoulder injury. The Oklahoma sooners fell to 3-2 with 2 one point losses to BYU and Miami. Neither game had Sam Bradford in at quarterback in the second half. As far as quarterbacks go this is one of the the biggest games for both Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy. Looking to bet the road dog Oklahoma sooners at + 3 1/2 at Bodog Sportsbook?

In this game look for the Texas Longhorns to put pressure on Sam Bradford all day. Oklahoma doesn’t have the offense a line that it had last year, and although Sam Bradford rarely throws picks, he doesn’t like to be rushed. Oklahoma will need to get the ball off quickly each play. Wide receiver Ryan Broyl is listed as likely to play the this week.

On the other side look for senior wide receiver Jordan Shipley to continue make big plays against the suspect Oklahoma pass defense.

Prediction Longhorns Win 31-24

Currently the Purdue boilermakers are averaging 410.2 yards per game this season, something that the Ohio State defense is looking to stall this week.  Last week the Ohio State defense picked off 2 interceptions for touchdowns against the Wisconsin badgers. Look for more of the same this week, as Ohio State has one of the top-ranked defenses, and Purdue has been struggling offensively with ball security, especially deep in their own territory. OSU’s defense is ranked 11th in the country seven in points allowed, at 12 per game, and 19 takeaways are second-best in the country.

Although Ohio State’s offense, has not exploded, Purdue’s soft defense could change all of that this week. Look for Terrelle Pryor to have an opportunity to open up this week. Like the Boilermakers? Bet on the Purdue Boilermakers at +14 at Bodog Sportsbook

If Purdue wants to stay alive in this game they will need to turn to second-ranked rusher Ralph Bolden, and look for the 6-2 Keith Smith at wide receiver, to be lined up all over the place.

Prediction Ohio State wins 35-14

The last game out right-handed pitcher John Lackey took a victory over Boston by shutting them out 5-0. Meanwhile CC Sabathia’s last outing with the Minnesota Twins was victorious for himself as well as the Twins could not get anything going and lost 7-2.

The LA Angels are 38-17 against left-handed starters this season. The Yankees are 69-41 against right-handed pitchers this season.

Pitching will be the key to success for both teams this series. Both the LA Angels, and the New York Giants are offensive powerhouses. Look for Rodriguez who is hammered 67 home runs against the Angels over his career, which has the highest amount he’s had against any team. On the other side of that, Guerrero has crushed the Yankees throughout his career. He is hitting .462 against the Yankees this year.

Look for this American League championship series (ALCS) to be a fierce pitching showdown, and explosive fireworks from the talented heavy hitters. Alex Rodriguez has been nothing short of the clutch guy. Impressive home runs, at the right times, to help defeat the Minnesota Twins.
